Stüssy officially came to fruition in 1980 by former surfer Shawn Stussy. Shawn Stussy originally began shaping surfboards for his friends and other locals of his hometown of Laguna Beach, California. Shawn then created screen-printed t-shirts and shorts, all finished with his surname written in a graffiti-inspired style. This has now grown to become Stüssy’s official brand logo. Since the ‘80s, Stüssy has become one of the most iconic apparel brands in the industry, having been adopted by hip-hop, surf, and other notable subcultures.

With that, Stüssy introduces its latest apparel collection for the Spring ‘23 season. This collection takes on a variety of vibrant apparel and headwear, all of which take into account seasonably-appropriate shades and workwear staples. This includes fleece zip-ups, vests, t-shirts, and beanies in various prints and patterns. The collection is a must-have for any wardrobe that needs refreshing. One stand-out apparel item includes the Stüssy 8 Ball Corp. Tee. Composed of cotton, the graphic tee takes on ribbed detailing at the neckline for dimension. Screen-printed branding and graphics can be found at the front and rear. In addition to branding, signature 8-ball graphics intertwined with the branding round out the remainder of the must-have graphic tee. The Stüssy Washed Stock Bucket Hat also makes an impression with its cotton blend and embroidered Stüssy logo.

An additional stand-out apparel item in this new collection is the Stüssy Fur Print Shirt. The design comprises complete viscose material, while the button-up closure connects to a pointed collar for security. The chest pocket provides a functional touch, while the all-over tiger print offers a finishing touch to the design. As for pants, the Stüssy Brushed Beach Pant makes an impression with its brushed cotton twill construction. The apparel item takes on an elastic drawcord waistband paired with a flag label and decorative fly stitching. The on-seam side pockets and seam welt pocket finish the remainder of the design.
