Feature'd Album Of The Week: Blink 182 'Enema of the State'

This week's 'Feature'd Album of the Week' showcases Southern California trio Blink-182, and their third studio album, 'Enema of the State'. Released in 1999, the album was the band's first project to feature drummer Travis Barker. Enema of the state created fast-paced, melodic 'pop-punk' mixes with a more radio-friendly finish. Lyrically, the album is inspired by adolescent frustration and relationships with tracks revolving around breakups, suburban parties and maturity. The album sold over 15 million copies worldwide, making the band one of the biggest rock bands of the turn of the century.
