Rap duo Kid 'n Play were one of the main figures on the scene during the 90's. Staring in the House Party trilogies, Kid 'n Play were the symbols of having a good time without hurting anybody . Known for their vibrant style and Kid's high top fro, the two were responsible for 'The Kid 'n Play Kickstep' which was the dance to do at any party. These days the two are living separate lives. Christopher 'Kid' Reid now performs stand up comedy and had a few cameos as well as hosting shows such as It's Showtime at the Apollo and Your Big Break . Christopher "Play" Martin on the other hand looked to his religious side and started creating Christian Hip Hop projects. Now residing in North Carolina, Martin became a professor at North Carolina Central University in Durham. Although every hype has a downfall, Kid 'n Play will forever be one of the pioneers in 90s rap.
