Founded by the former protege of Virgil Abloh, Samuel Ross is the creator and designer of the label A-COLD-WALL* founded in 2015. The five-year-old brand has turned head waves in the fashion industry with its fresh and youthful perspective influenced by industrial and architectural design. Often simplified to the acronym ACW, A-COLD-WALL* was created to respond to the British social climate and start a cultural conversation around the youth. 

The modern yet luxury menswear label features traditional workwear apparel with Savile Row tailoring to create a high-end deconstructed look. For its Fall/Winter 2020 collection, these techniques, along with the use of functional materials, can be seen throughout. Making its first-ever Milan Fashion Week appearance, A-COLD-WALL* delivers a line that celebrates its fifth anniversary and creates a new direction described as  “a working man at the heart of his community, whether as artisan, writer, sculptor or industrial designer.”

Offering a more mature collection, A-COLD-WALL* presents elevated streetwear silhouettes that are different from any past collections. The collection strays away from graphic tees and presents muted color palettes for a sophisticated ready-to-wear line. The collection features adaptable outwear along with staple t-shirts, hoodies and accessories that can be worn in any everyday attire. 

Must-have pieces in the collection include A-Cold-Wall Fade Out Field Jacket in Stone. This field jacket is made from durable, workwear cotton that showcases a distressed look that includes multiple pockets and embroidered branding. For footwear, the A-Cold-Wall Rhombus Hi-Top in cement includes a suede upper with leather overlays in a high-top silhouette perfect for the Fall season. A-COLD-WALL* is seen throughout the silhouette with branding on the heel and ACW logo embossed on the lateral sides.
