Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG 'Pine Green' releasing February 29th
Marissa Villamor
The vastly popular Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG is releasing in a new colorway, “Pine Green,” in Men’s and GS sizes on Saturday, Feb. 29.
The Nike Air Jordan 1 originally released back in 1985 in a black and red colorway, making it Michael Jordan’s first signature sneaker with Nike. However, the tradition of the “Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG” really begins back in the early 2000s, where the Air Jordan 1 continued to live on as a modern-day footwear staple. Since then, the silhouette has released in a multitude of colorway options in both men and women.
The new model consists of a mostly black leather upper, with pine green found on the heel, toebox, side panels and Nike Swoosh branding. A hint of red is displayed on the tongue on the Nike Air branding logo. Finishing details of the staple silhouette include black on the tongue, laces, and inner liner, a white midsole and a Pine Green rubber outsole.
