Growing up in Pennsylvania, Thom Browne always loved both fashion and sports from a young age. On a journey of self-discovery, Browne graduated from the University of Notre Dame to pursue a career in fashion. When he landed in New York City, he secured a job as a salesman in Giorgio Armani’s showroom which eventually led to his succession with Club Monaco. He would then become the lead designer within Polo Ralph Lauren’s creative development team and work alongside iconic fashion designer, Ralph Lauren. His passion would only grow and in 2001, he would separate from the label to pursue his namesake, Thom Browne. His fashion label has become a leader within menswear as he combines an avant-garde twist on traditional American styles. 

Thom Browne’s signature aesthetic includes their trademark elements; a grosgrain ribbon and four-bar motif. These particular styles create a cohesive style between Thom Browne’s wide range of styles. In the latest delivery, the fashion label hones in on these elements while creating a perfect hybrid between creates athletics and sophistication. Thom Browne introduces the delivery alongside World Cup skier Lindsey Vaughn to really emphasize its theme of, ‘sport meets high-fashion.’ 

The collection introduces statement pieces as seen with the Football Sideline Parka in Navy. Its luxe complexion is composed of polyester and quality goose down. Perfect for cooler temperatures while the Half Zip Anorak is a premium design that can be worn casually. Completely constructed with nylon, the half zip is lightweight and comfortable- making it a great addition for any outfit. The Flyweight Ripstop Track Pants follow similar cues from the anorak as its nylon fabric offers enhanced comfort and flexibility during times of wear. An elastic waistband elevates its fit, while contrast piping and zippered pocket revert to a tactical finish. Conventional tailored pieces commonly seen within Thom Browne’s repertoire include the Classic Sweat Short and Classic Sweatpant. Developed in Japan, the premium designs consist of quality cotton and adjustable drawstrings for a comfortable fit. 

Similar designs are transferred over to the Pool Slide as its cashmere and wool upper highlights the signature grosgrain ribbon, a transitional style that can be worn during the summer.
