Maison Mihara Yasuhiro
Founded in 1997, Maison Mihara Yasuhiro started his namesake label initially as a footwear brand. Yasuhiro gained experience through his education at Tama Art University, located in Japan, where he started making different sneakers and shoes. A few years later, he launched his shop called "archi doom." After Yasuhiro graduated, he renamed his shop into his namesake label, where his career began to take off.
Maison Mihara Yasuhiro has been a top tier brand focusing on producing footwear since the late '90s. The brand's style can be described as having a unique aesthetic utilizing high quality and sophisticated textiles. The Japanese-label pulls inspiration from American culture, which helped curate its first clothing collection that launched during Tokyo Fashion Week in 1999. Since it's initial launch, the brand has been producing high-quality footwear and menswear designs for more than 20 years.
Maison Mihara Yasuhiro gained their first significant collaboration with the sportswear giant PUMA, in 2000. This partnership helped solidify the brand's status in the industry and have produced multiple different collections with their ongoing collaboration. Notable Maison Mihara Yasuhiro sneaker silhouettes in the ongoing partnership include the MY-57 and MY-72.
