As a young creative from New York, artist Colm Dillane started from humble beginnings, and his artistic journey started back to when he was creating custom t-shirts for his high school friends. Dillane continued this venture to college, where he ended up being kicked out of his dorm room for selling the shirts out of his room. Dillane found a run-down place in Brooklyn, which he turned into a multipurpose space. This space was named KidSuper Studios after his dream rapper name, KidSuper. Thus, the art collective was born and would eventually grow into one of the fashion movement’s most promising and unique streetwear brands. Colm Dillane wanted to set himself apart from other popular streetwear brands, and his art would become the main focal point of each item. To keep each item unique and one of a kind, these statement pieces showcase Dillane’s hand-drawn, eye-caching, and vibrant artistry. Colm Dillane’s appreciation for art and all things fashion is highly prevalent in each of KidSuper Studios’ offerings. In the fashion label’s latest SS22 collection titled “What Do You Want To Do Before You Die,” the statement apparel is made up of bright prints fashioned into collages and bold imagery. Each silhouette nods to the characteristics of KidSuper’s design studio while breaking typical cookie-cutter fashion conventions.

The KidSuper Studios Super Hoodie makes a bold statement within its aesthetic. The hoodie features a cotton blend and incorporates a muted tie-dye exterior. A drawstring hood is placed with ribbed trims set at the cuffs and hem. Screen-printed branding and graphics intertwine throughout the surface, further accentuating the brand’s signature streetwear aesthetics. Perfect for the cooler months, the KidSuper Studios Neighborhood Champions Knit Sweater nods to the collection’s bold imagery and graphics. The sweater is a wool blend and stands apart from the standard silhouette. Ribbed trims are placed throughout, while the stitched pictures make an eye-catching statement. The offering from the Brooklyn-based streetwear brand features a round neckline and a camouflage face screen-printed throughout, which ties together the remainder of the silhouette. An additional signature apparel item from the new delivery includes the KidSuper Studios Blue Check Trousers. Embodying a retro aesthetic, the distinct trousers are composed of over 300 individually-sewn cotton squares placed in a checkered manner. A singular alternate square can be seen, while additional features include an embroidered KidSuper Studios superhero at one of the five pockets. The zip fly and belt loops tie together the look.
