FEATURE x New Era ‘Opal’
No other headwear brand compares to the distinct legacy of New Era. Established in 1920 by Ehrhardt Koch in Buffalo, New York, the American headwear company was founded on creating high-quality caps for all. Since its inception, the brand has grown into a full-fledged lifestyle headwear brand. In 1993, New Era became the official headwear partnership brand of the MLB. Since then, New Era has received exclusive headgear rights to the NFL and NBA. The headwear brand is most recognized for its iconic fitted cap, the 59FIFTY Fitted. Countless sports teams have been spotlighted within iconic New Era headwear offerings like fitted caps, snapbacks, and beanies. These brands include the Los Angeles Dodgers, Atlanta Braves, Boston Red Sox, Chicago White Sox, New York Yankees, and many more. New Era has remained a cultural icon among each generation and decade within countless subcultures.
With that, New Era and FEATURE's history started in 2018 when ‘FEATURE’ renditions of classic New Era headwear silhouettes were introduced to our brand’s headwear offerings. Over the past four years, a selection of collaborative headwear between the two entities has been submitted, primarily featured on the 59FIFTY silhouette. These silhouettes have spotlighted iconic sports teams and local Las Vegas teams, such as the Las Vegas Raiders and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Our most recent collaborations include our exclusive glow-in-the-dark FEATURE x New Era ‘Night Vision’ headwear and FEATURE x New Era ‘Earth’ headwear. We are excited to share that we are again teaming up with the heritage headwear label in introducing the FEATURE x New Era ‘Opal’ 59FIFTY Fitted.
The FEATURE x New Era ‘Opal’ 59FIFTY Fitted is a must-have within any headwear collection. This premium-fitted headwear is crafted from authentic polyester and features a flat brim. The flat brim is treated with a blue undervisor for added detail. A detailed FEATURE ‘F’ logo is seen on the face, with an iconic New Era flag embroidered on the left side panel. Embroidered script ‘FEATURE’ branding is seen at the rear. The woven eyelets at the crown offer optimal breathability during all types of wear. Another distinguishing feature of this exclusive collaborative headwear offering is its pack of three pins included with each hat purchase. These glistening pins display a jewel, FEATURE, and OPAL design. By placing these pins within the woven eyelets, the overall silhouette is upgraded to an entirely different aesthetic.
