With August coming to an end and September officially here, notable footwear and apparel releases have arrived at FEATURE for the first official week of the new month, featuring brands like Saucony, Nike and Air Jordan and a collaboration with Jacquemus. Keep reading below to take a closer look at the sneakers you have a chance of winning this week.
SAUCONY SHADOW 5000 'ST. BARTHS'
For this week's release rotation, Saucony introduces the latest iteration of the iconic Shadow 5000 silhouette. Inspired by the Caribbean island St. Barths, the Saucony Shadow 5000 'St. Barths' (S70701-1) bold colorway references the island's unique ocean. Nubuck takes up the other while the suede detailing spreads throughout the rest of the exterior. A St. Barths logo resides at the tongue, while the synthetic lining and rubber outsole round out the rest of the silhouette.
NIKE AIR HUMARA X JACQUEMUS
Nike is colliding for the first time with luxury label Jacquemus in a premium apparel and footwear collaboration that invites sport style into everyday life, overall expanding the connection between style and self. The collaboration’s apparel is introduced in women’s sizing and includes a skirt, biker shorts, bra, fleece hoodie, and four dresses.
As for shoes, the collaboration introduces the Nike x Jacquemus Air Humara LX. This premium silhouette is introduced in two colorways: Light Bone/Gold/Sail (DR0420-001) and Ale Brown/Gold/Ale Brown (DR0420-200), both of which are releasing in men's sizing. The silhouettes’ are inspired by a vintage ACG trail aesthetic while spotlighting a combination of luxurious materials. Bold metal Swooshes make an additional appearance along with the tongue loop tab and signature Air cushioning.
AIR JORDAN 5 LOW ‘EXPRESSION’
This week’s releases also include the latest Air Jordan sneaker. Looking ahead at the brand’s Fall 2022 footwear lineup, the Air Jordan 5 Low ‘Expression’ (DA8016-100) exercises optimal creativity with an artwork-inspired approach. Introduced in women's sizing, its suede upper coincides with the brush stroke aesthetic. The Jumpman logo on the suede tongues adds a further dimension to the overall silhouette.
AIR JORDAN 3 ‘FIRE RED’
The year continues to bring must-have Air Jordan 3s, and the latest arrival is featured in a premium colorway. This recent Air Jordan 3 'Fire Red' (DN3707-160) silhouette brings back the ‘Fire Red’ OG colorway of the first Air Jordan that was designed by Tinker Hatfield. The sneaker’s leather upper contrasts with the signature elephant-print overlays seen at the forefoot and heel. Contrasting accents are seen throughout, while the Air-sole unit at the heel supported by the rubber outsole completes the look.
