Due to its unique construction, the PUMA Mostro has always been a disruptive style.  Originally introduced in 1999, the Mostro made waves with its sleek, low-profile spiked sole and signature Velcro closure system. Five years later, designer Peter Schmidt revisited his original concept, amplifying its most striking features to create the Ur Mostro—an iteration that pushed the shoe’s aesthetic even further. Now, in collaboration with UK-based brand INSIDE TAG, PUMA reintroduces the Mostro once again with the Ur Mostro ‘Communication Pack,’ a modern reimagination that stays true to the shoe’s DNA.

This special-edition pack presents two versions of the Ur Mostro, each crafted with a leather upper overlaid on open mesh for a layered, textural effect. The enhanced outsole lugs, aged TPU components, and elongated heel tabs add an archival feel, nodding to the early 2000s era while maintaining a contemporary edge. Available in colorways such as 'Warm White' and 'Haute Coffee,' the sneakers are a standout addition to any collection.
