Known for its iconic Boost technology, the Adidas Ultraboost launched back in 2015 and became one of Adidas’s first high-performance running shoes and fashion sneakers. Although the Boost technology was first introduced into Adidas running shoes earlier in 2013, the technology truly became known for its innovation with the Ultraboost and has become one of Adidas’ most popular silhouettes. The Adidas Ultraboost silhouette features a Primeknit upper and the heel-to-toe Boost, in a wide range of colorway options.
The Boost Technology is what separates Adidas from its counterparts and there are five key benefits that make the Boost technology so great. The first key benefit is comfort. The cushioning properties of the Boost technology provide the ultimate comfort. It is also designed for a wide range of atmospheres and can last through snow, rain, wind, etc. This provides the shoe’s third key benefit which is durability. The Boost technology is made to last to stand of time without any loss of performance. The technology also integrates enough flexibility to help shape wherever you’re going. Lastly, and the most iconic benefit, is the energy return. As stated by Adidas, “The power to absorb and return more of an athlete’s kinetic output is what changed the performance shoe industry forever.”
