The Milan-based fashion brand, Palm Angels, is known for its ongoing American culture theme inspired by skateboarding and Los Angeles culture. Found back in 2015 by Francesco Ragazzi, Palm Angeles was first founded by a photography project that Ragazzi was working on in Southern California. Ragazzi photographed a long-haired skateboarder that was skating to the backdrop of palm trees and the Venice Beach sunset. The lightening from the sunset created a “halo” shape around his head, thus creating the name Palm Angels. 

Palm Angels is Ragazzi’s vision of blending two cultures into one, Italian and American. The brand focuses on Los Angeles skateboarding culture with an artistic twist from photography prints, gold-tone accents and provocative slogans. The brand’s style is focused on using skater-inspired silhouettes with preppy tailoring inspired by both his home country of Italy and America. 

For Palm Angels Fall/Winter 2020 collection, Ragazzi takes on the Wild Wild West for their second appearance at New York Fashion Week. Ragazzi includes elements of the Rocky Mountains, canyons, desert landscapes and glaring sun throughout the collection. The brand blends the Western Americana motif with the classic California vibe and fuses these two core concepts into one. 

Their FW ready-to-wear line features their signature tracksuits, tee-shirts, flannels, jackets, sweatshirts, pants and accessories from hats to socks. The brand pulls out its classic staple pieces and puts emphasis on jackets and fall colors for the new season. 

Known for their iconic tracksuits, Palm Angels brings back their signature suits for the Fall with Fall colorways with a Pine Green, Black, Autumn, Dark Brown, Scarlet and a Rainbow. Other notable pieces throughout the collection are the Palm Angels Logo Overshirt in blue and black, Palm Angels Palm Ice Bear Sweater, a variety of colorway options for the Palm Angels Black Logo Over Tee and the Palm Angles Glow in the Dark Over Hoodie.
