Straight out of Oakland, California, was the hometown for the group known today as Digital Underground. Greg "Shock G" Jacobs lead the group and played the role as Humpty Hump as well to correlate their hit single "The Humpty Hump". The group consisted of Jimi "Chopmaster J" Dright of Berkeley, California, and Tampa hip-hop radio dj Kenneth "Kenny-K" Waters. Their presences and attire were influenced by the culture in the 1970's featuring funky colors and a loud attire. Digital Underground was also known to have helped Tupac Shakur's career by bringing him around on tour. Touring the world for nearly 20 years, the group finally ended their streak in 2008 along with their final studio album ..Cuz A D.U. Party Don't Stop!.
