Adidas brings us a new rendition of their signature Ultraboost for the new year dubbed the "19" ($180). The shoe starts with a full Primeknit upper that features a new stitched patterning, providing an extra stretch. The usual heel cup is replaced by a minimal piping that extends to the Boost midsole for optimum support. Another new feature is the one-piece TPU panel that takes the place of the orignal lacing cage. All of this sits on a thicker Boost midsole providing ideal comfort and a staple Continental rubber outsole patterned after a tire for added grip. Additional details include contrasting red accenting throughout the upper and a Adidas branding on the tongue tab.
