Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG ‘UNC To Chicago’ Releasing February 14th for the 2020 NBA All-Star Weekend

Marissa Villamor

The vastly popular Air Jordan 1 Retro is going back to where it all began with the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “UNC To Chicago.” The signature sneaker is combining two popular colorways with the dark powdered blue and gym red. The sneaker is inspired by Jordan’s journey from his alma mater, the University of North Carolina, to his professional NBA career with the Chicago Bulls.

The sneaker is made with premium tumbled leather, topped with a white midsole and a red rubber outsole. Both Jordan and Nike branding is located on the upper.

The Air Jordan 1 first released back in 1985 when Jordan was named rookie of the year and played in the NBA All-Star game. The Air Jordan 1 became the first shoe to be worn in the NBA with multiple colors and has since transformed into one of the most iconic sneakers.

The silhouette is releasing during the 2020 NBA All-Star Weekend as part of Jordan Brand’s All-Star Weekend capsule. Air Jordan High OG “UNC To Chicago” will be available in women's and TD sizes. For men's sizing deduct 1.5 sizes (Women's size 13 is a Men's Size 11.5).
