Air Jordan 3 SE ‘Denim’ Releasing August 27th

Air Jordan 3 SE ‘Denim’ Releasing August 27th

Marissa Villamor

Originally released in 1988, the Air Jordan 3 silhouette goes down as one of the most popular Air Jordan’s in history. Designed by iconic designer Tinker Hatfield, the Air Jordan 3 was the first silhouette to move away from the signature WIngs logo and debut the iconic Jumpman logo that we all see today. The model was also the first Air Jordan to feature the Jordan Brand’s iconic elephant print and visible Air units.

In 2001, the Air Jordan 3 received its first retro run and relaunched and launched in a handful of iconic colorways. One of those colorways was the iconic ‘Fire Red’ colorway that is one of the most recognizable colorways in the Jordan brand history. The Air Jordan 3 ‘Denim’ set to release this Thursday, August 27th pulls the traditional Fire Red colorway but with a twist.

The Air Jordan 3 Retro SE ‘Denim’ features a white leather upper with a denim-finished elephant print on the heel, toe and eye stay. The silhouette also features Fire Red accents and both Nike Air and Jumpman branding throughout the sneaker. The sneaker also comes in a special, denim elephant-print packaging perfect to add to any collection.
