Air Jordan 4 Retro ‘Neon’ Releasing 3/21

Air Jordan 4 Retro ‘Neon’ Releasing 3/21

Marissa Villamor

Air Jordan is taking two classics and fusing them into one. The Jordan Brand is releasing the Air Jordan 4 Retro ‘Neon’ inspired by the Air Max 95’s original ‘Neon Green’ colorway on Saturday, March 21. This isn’t the first time that the Jordan Brand Retro has pulled inspiration from previous Air Max. The most recent design can be seen in the Atmos Pack. Now in 2020, the two iconic silhouettes are pulling inspiration from each other again for the highly anticipated release of the Air Jordan 4 Retro ‘Neon.’

Designers, Tinker Hatfield and Sergio Lozana, are well known for providing Nike’s most popular sneakers. The Air Jordan 4 Retro was originally released back in 1989 by designer Tinker Hatfield. While the Air Max 95 was created by designer Sergio Lozana has been an iconic shoe ever since it released in the OG Neon colorway. The two designers get an unexpected collaboration pairing the silhouette of the Air Jordan 4 Retro and combining colorway inspiration from the OG Air Max 95.

The Air Jordan 4 provides multiple shades of grey with neon detailing to mimic the Air Max 95 ‘Volt.’ The silhouette provides a metallic heel panel with the iconic ‘Nike Air’ branding, as well as an enlarged tongue patch with the Jumpman logo half in white and half in neon green. The laces are also replaced with striped rope laces for the complete finish.

The Air Jordan 4 Retro ‘Neon’ will be available in a family pack, from TD, GS and Adult sizing.
