April 29th

The heritage shoe manufacturer brand, Padmore & Barnes, has been synonymous with quality shoemaking since 1934. Padmore & Barnes’ hand-stitched footwear distinguishes itself from others and has transcended cultural norms within each generation. Known for their signature moccasin-inspired low tops, boots, and more, Padmore & Barnes was established in the shoe-making heritage location of Kilkenny, Ireland, where people in the surrounding communities were employed by the shoe manufacturer to stitch the shoes in their own homes. In 1964, Padmore & Barnes was acquired by C&J Clark in 1964 to help manufacture a new style of footwear, which would then become the iconic Clark’s Wallabee. What was initially named the ‘Irish Wallabee’ grew to become a cult favorite in Ireland.

Although Padmore & Barnes has been trading independently since 1987, the shoe manufacturer prides itself on helping create the iconic Clark’s Wallabee. In the more recent years, the production of Padmore & Barnes footwear has shifted outside of Ireland to Poland but remains committed to European manufacturing by local craftspeople. Primarily known for manufacturing casual shoes that have high-quality strength and attention to detail, Padmore & Barnes is internationally recognized as a leader in footwear design, innovation, and production techniques.

With this rich history in mind, we at FEATURE are excited to announce that we are joining alongside Padmore & Barnes in releasing a selection of various P204 Original Low Top + P404 Original Boot silhouettes that combine the highest quality detailing of Padmore & Barnes with the ‘All Things Good’ heritage of FEATURE.

Presented in U.S. Men’s sizing ranging from sizes 8 through 13, the FEATURE x Padmore & Barnes P404 Original Boot is featured in three colorways: Green/Green, Animal/Brown, and Green/Brown, while the FEATURE x Padmore & Barnes P204 Original Low Top is seen in Black/Brown, Animal/Purple, and Animal/Grey/Navy. The FEATURE x Padmore & Barnes collaboration takes a unique take on the shoe manufacturers' classic low top and boot silhouettes, as premium super velour suede resides within the distinguishing upper. Pony hair material is blended seamlessly within the overlays, making an additional bold statement. Within the double hand-stitched seams is suede detailing. The moccasin-like designs spotlight embroidered FEATURE script branding at the left toe boxes, while different printed Padmore & Barnes branding resides within the left silhouette’s leather insole. Printed FEATURE academy branding is seen within the right silhouette’s leather insole. The genuine plantation crepe underneath references the rich history of Padmore & Barnes, all while offering optimal durability and longevity. The distinct corded laces finish the overall look.
