Moncler’s origins lie in the roots of its name, as Moncler is the abbreviation of Monestier-de-Clermont, a mountain village near Grenoble. René Ramillon and Andrè Vincent founded the company in 1952 and began creating garments to protect people from the cold weather. This apparel included the now-renowned down jacket, which offers high resistance and protection against the harshest climates. This French-founded Italian luxury fashion house now specializes in a variety of ready-to-wear apparel and haute couture outerwear, which all started as a down jacket boutique. Signature technical streetwear label Stone Island joined the Moncler Group in March of 2021.

The brand is primarily known for its signature puffer jackets, quilted jackets, puffer vests, and more. Since its origins, Moncler has expanded into designing a selection of everyday and outerwear knitwear apparel such as t-shirts, sweatshirts, sweaters, cardigans, hoodies, and more. Along with apparel the brand regularly offers leather goods, footwear, fragrance, and accessories such as scarves, backpacks, and beanies.

The Moncler Mule Slides are an elevated must-have from Moncler’s debut delivery. Cut from a blend of leather, polyester, and acrylic, the premium silhouette makes an impression on any footwear collection. The silhouette spotlights further suede detailing that pairs seamlessly with the faux fur at the lining. A side release buckle is seen at the strap, while the micro rubber outsole provides a durable finish. The Moncler Trailgrip GTX Low Top Sneakers add a technological touch to any design. Cut from ripstop at the upper, the design spotlights a water-repellent GORE-TEX membrane. The EVA midsole adds flexibility and lightness to the design. A mesh insole is seen for added breathability, while the carbon fiber plate between the midsole adds further comfort and durability with each step. The Vibram treaded outsole underneath wraps up the remainder of the look.
