Nostalgic Essentials: Icecream’s Winter Collection Available Now

Chelsie Rendon

Icecream has delivered their second installation within their Winter Collection - combining nostalgic aesthetics with collegiate apparel. Within the creation, the pieces were modeled by Grammy-nominated artist Jack Harlow. The exclusive images found in the lookbook were shot in Harrlow’s hometown of Louiseville, Kentucky by renowned photographer Cian Moore. The latest collection draws inspiration from the 80s and 90s while utilizing loud prints, sewn fabrics, and bold colors. All of the pieces revert to traditional Icecream branding as they showcase the many motifs that they’ve created over time including the icecream cone, diamond, and running dog artwork.

The Tradition Jacket encapsulates all of the vibes utilized within the collection. Made with premium nylon and poly-fill cushioning, the sleeves are a nod to the 90s as many jackets championed the same design. Raised rubber prints display traditional branding along the front while purple flush pockets stand out against the black base. Icecream also emphasizes the retro aesthetic with the Repeat Pant. These sweatpants are given a unique and loud design following a colorway popular within the throwback eras. Quality craftsmanship is highlighted as each panel is cut and sewn to perfection to give it a cohesive blend.

Along with jackets and pants, we see a line of new sweaters and tees that embodies a collegiate design. A common colorway of purple and yellow makes its way through the collection tying all of the pieces together. Premium craftsmanship is highlighted within the collection by providing quality screen-printed graphics and meticulously sewn trimmings. Each piece pays homage to the original designs that Icecream has created helping its growth by giving it a nostalgic aesthetic allowing it to fit within the collection.
