STONE ISLAND

Improving and innovating is a lifestyle for Stone Island as they have become a leader within the fashion community. First introduced in 1982 by Massimo Osti, the brand was incredibly successful as they introduced premium techniques onto everyday clothing. But it wasn’t until Carlo Rivetti joined the team that the brand would excel and become the fan-favorite label we know today. Rivetti has always had a hardworking personality; this derived from his family due to their background and involvement within the apparel industry. It was embedded in his mind at a young age to never give up and to always produce the best quality products, therefore he transferred this ideology onto Stone Island when he acquired the brand.

Carlo Rivetti was devoted to showcasing new constructions and fabrics to classic designs, making Stone Island redefine the understanding of sportswear. Stone Island has a dedicated department that is committed to creating and developing new technologies including, enhancing fibers and fabrics, to discovering the latest production techniques and dyes. Since its implementation, the department has created more than 60,000 different dyes recipes and introduced new filtering processes, thermo-sensitive fabrics, and other advanced textiles to their lineup.

With every collection release, Stone Island thoroughly incorporates its ethos within its creations for a quality design each season. The Fall/Autumn 2021 Collection perfectly reflects the brand as they encompass their modern techniques upon everyday lifestyle clothing. They took influences from military clothing and utilized those elements in casual designs. This is immensely important as it provides durability to staple pieces and satisfies the constant change in the weather. The delivery also explores bold tones while mixing in traditional neutrals and monochromatic sequences.

Drawing emphasis on layering pieces, the collection introduces new colorways of the Real Down Jacket 44508. Designed with a double dye formula, each jacket exudes bold coloring while its nylon construction is developed with Stone Island’s signature Nylon Metal Technology. This technology provides a distinct sheen that allows the complexion to stand out and stay smooth. The jacket also features quality feathers padded throughout and an anti-drop finish for a dry experience. This can easily be worn over the Crewneck Sweatshirt 63020 or the  Patch Logo S/S Tee. Both developed with premium cotton, the simplistic design draws emphasis on its garment-dyed complexion and the signature compass motif that is either woven on the arm or distinctly stitched at the chest. The Crewneck and Tee are then completed with overstitched or rib-knit seams for a tailored finish.

In addition to the tops, the capsule highlights some of their most popular pants. Showcased in neutral tones, the 31314 and 30510 Pants are staple styles for every wardrobe. Reminiscent of traditional cargos, both styles incorporate cotton and elastane for a slight stretch component during times of wear. Its tapered design is reminiscent of modern trends which are contrasted by cargo-inspired pockets and fastening. The 31314 and 30510 Pants balance utilitarian designs with contemporary details. The Fleece Pants 64520 also make their debut this season as they are the perfect casual style that can keep you warm and comfortable. Finished with a side pocket and the compass tag, the pants feature elastic trims and adjustable drawstrings that can be tailored to your personal fit.
