Vans Vault Adds a Paisley Print to the Classic OG Era LX Silhouette

Vans was originally founded in 1966 in Southern California by brothers Paul Van Doren and Jim Van Doren. The brand was originally founded under the name “The Van Doren Rubber Company” and was later shortened to just Vans. The California brand was inspired by West Coast culture and the skateboarding lifestyle.
In 2003, Vans officially launched the Vault by Vans collection, that continued to offer classic Vans style to create unique collections and colorways inspired by contemporary street fashion, art, music and surf and skate culture. The popular footwear brand, Vans Vault, is Van’s premium label pulled from 40-plus years of Vans classic designs and silhouettes.
Bringing it back to their California roots, Vans puts a California-inspired twist on its classic OG Era LX silhouette with a bold paisley print in three different colorways; Pompeian red, true blue and fern green. The silhouette takes on a vibrant look just in time for Summer and the warm months ahead. The model features a canvas upper with a paisley, bandana-like pattern, the original Vans waffle rubber outsole and the signature Off The Wall tab. The white midsole features colorful graphics of palm trees and beaches inspired by California and the beaches, giving the model the ultimate Summer vibe.
The Vans Vault OG Era LX “Paisley” pack ($80 USD) is now available online. To shop the latest Vans collection click here.
