Advisory Board Crystals

Wellness Meets Fashion

By combining crystals with fashion and eccentric sub-culture aesthetics, the streetwear fashion brand Advisory Board Crystals has established itself as one of the industry's most sought-after underground/niche labels. Also known as Abc. 123, Advisory Board Crystals is highly desired by artists and fashion enthusiasts alike. The crystal-inspired label Abc. 123 was first instilled in Los Angeles in 2015 by partners Remington Guest and Heather Haber. The early beginnings of the brand are interesting, as both Guest and Haber met in an UberShare ride. They quickly realized they were heading to the same party together and were even coworkers at the same fashion house. The two immediately became inseparable and bonded over their shared obsession with crystals. Their love of crystals, and more specifically its use regarding wellness, was so prevalent that Guest even took Haber to a crystals shop and bought her a lepidolite crystal that’s intention was to help relieve stress and anxiety. What initially began as a contemporary crystal store that sold home goods officially grew into an apparel line in 2017. By intertwining functional extremity with experimental fashion concepts, Advisory Board Crystals’ guiding intentions are to introduce garments that allow you to be yourself through simple and minimalist everyday apparel.

Advisory Board Crystals values and focuses on providing premium staples that can be worn in all settings. Abc. 123’s aesthetic is determined by original multi-dimensional crystal inspiration that is reflected in their apparel. The label is well-known for its detail-oriented hoodies and t-shirts with enigmatic typography and views crystals as cultural objects and art pieces provided by the earth. Advisory Board Crystals combines different wellness aesthetics as their beliefs in the healing powers of crystals are presented through each apparel item quite literally. Abc. 123 utilizes dying techniques with crystals, as they offer crystals and wellness in a way that feels advisory rather than restrictive. The brand values the healing properties of crystals by approaching them from a more pragmatic and less spiritual viewpoint.

The Spring/Summer 22 delivery from Advisory Board Crystals continues the brand’s commitment to creating minimal everyday essential apparel. New styles have been added along with new colorways of their classic offerings. Perfect for wearing on its own or layering, the Advisory Board Crystals Studio Work Shirt features a signature pull-tab behind the neckline and an embroidered Abc. and 123. on the cuff. A woven Abc. 123. patch label and flag label are placed with metallic gold threading, while the chest pocket and box pleat down the center back add additional detailing. Crafted entirely from cotton, the breathable design is essential for any everyday apparel collection.

Another offering from the new collection is the Advisory Board Crystals Sweatpants. The design features a custom milled rib and french terry fabrication and includes a signature paracord drawstring within the waistband. Branding is placed throughout the design with woven and embroidered labels. The brand’s signature ‘Pulse Pocket’ also appears within the silhouette, as it is made to hold your mobile device, as the design blocks radio waves moving toward your body from it. With the Crewneck Sweatshirt, the lightweight cotton design features a custom milled rib and french terry fabrication paired with a pull-tab and signature embroidery placed at the chest. Ribbed detailing can be seen at the trims, while a classic woven patch label and flag label with metallic gold threading tie together the aesthetic.
