Brothers Paul Van Doren and Jim Van Doren changed the skateboarding world forever in 1966 when ‘Vans’ was founded. Skateboarders’ interest was piqued in the early 70s when they noticed that Vans’ simple style and sticky outsole made it perfect for skating.
