Japan-made sock company, CHUP, was founded in 2009. CHUP is an acronym for "Classical Human's Universal Peace" and refers to the sun, the moon and the stars in the sky, all of which the Ainu (Japan's native people) worshipped.
CHUP socks with fun designs are inspired by nature and the Navajo Nation. These highly sought after socks offer unique and playful designs that are timeless and are woven to the highest quality through a vintage stocking frame machine. Produced exclusively with recycled threads called Eco Yarn, these socks are not only good for the soul but offer the utmost style and comfort.
Due to the stocking frame machine, CHUP is only able to produce around 20-25 socks per day and each pair is hand-locked at the toe for a seamless finish. Each pair is inspected by trained artisans and craftsmen to ensure top quality socks. Shop designer CHUP socks online.
