They saw an opportunity in the industry to introduce incenses since most shops were only carrying candles.  MAAPS makes handmade incense from Los Angeles that are crafted to achieve balance, complexity and strength. MAAPS enjoys the idea that a scent can bring back distinct memories for individuals and they play into this concept with their incenses. All incenses are crafted with premium quality bamboo sticks, organic essential oils and natural resins that are all-natural and long-burning for up to 45-minutes. On top of producing incense fragrances, the brand makes unique incense holders from porcelain and other natural materials. MAAPS draws inspiration from different landscapes across America that can be found in the names of their scents. After years of establishing themselves, MAAPS landed a collaboration with Brain Dead which included a custom scent exclusive to the streetwear brand.
