Francesco Ragazzi is also the art director of Moncler. Palm Angels is inspired by skateboarding and Los Angeles culture. The brand came to fruition by a photography project by Francesco Ragazzi where he photographed a skateboarder skating to a backdrop of palm trees, which incorporated a sunset on Venice Beach. As a fashion label, Palm Angels bridges the gap between Italy and America through the eyes of Ragazzi. Intertwining Los Angeles skate culture with artistic photographic prints, the brand is well-known for its iconic Teddy Bear motif. The Palm Angels bear and their signature bandana print are placed throughout a selection of apparel and accessories from hoodies, t-shirts, track jackets, track pants to backpacks and tennis sneakers.
