Rokit is an LA-based streetwear brand founded in 2016 by Bam Barcena, Ryan “Rionism” Barcena and Nico Guardalabene. The brand marries the worlds of both skateboarding and street basketball into one. This unique concept can be seen throughout their collections and is represented by their orange circle logo.
Rokit gained attention early on by customizing sneakers with the help of The Shoe Surgeon, in which they reworked a Vans Old Skool and Nike Air Force 1 and combined them into one. This played into their concept of connecting both skateboarding and basketball worlds into one. Their motto reads, “from the paint to the ledge, on and off the court.” The signature orange circle logo represents a basketball and a skateboard wheel in which is never-ending due to its circular shape.
Known for producing bold graphics, Rokit’s branding is easily recognizable in its garments. To help push their brand narrative, Rokit has partnered with Pleasures, Nike and Converse.
