The Stampd brand was first founded in 2009 by Chris Stamp and a partner that focused mainly on doing footwear. In 2011, the brand was relaunched solely by Chris Stamp. The brand first started off with limited-edition accessories and then progressed to Stampd clothing. Inspired by West Coast culture, the lifestyle brand lives by the motto “Quality and craftsmanship over mass production.” Stamp wanted to produce a line of apparel and accessories that he himself would wear every day. The brand puts a focus on minimalistic designs and puts a heavy emphasis on the use of the color black.  Stamp was named GQ’s Best New Menswear Designer in 2015.
