Fucking Awesome was created by iconic skateboarding legend, Jason Dill, alongside Mike Piscitelli and Anthony Ave Engelen. The brand was founded in 2001 and was established on the base of skateboarding and the “skater attitude.” Prior to starting FA, Dill hung out with the Supreme crew and was fascinated by the streetwear giant. This sparked his interest in the industry as he started making tees and then hand-delivering them to the New York Supreme store for them to turn around and sell. The start of Fucking Awesome was born.

FA is known to ignore the standard industry norms by releasing collections based on the season and instead focuses on limited releases whenever possible. The FA style consists of brash graphics and bold signature skater style that reflects as an extension of Dill’s personality. The signature FA logo that is featured on a mix of apparel was originally ripped from Hulk Hogan’s brand, Hulkamania, as Dill was drawn to that aggressive style.

Previous to entering the fashion industry, Dill was a professional skater in New York who used to ride for Alien Workshop, Etnies and Vans. In 2014, FA grew its brand by expanding into an official skate team. The FA brand currently harbors two skateboarding teams, Fucking Awesome and its sister company, Hockey.

The latest delivery from FA consists of their core 2020 drop of signature graphic t-shirts, skateboard decks and accessories. The variety of graphic tees are focused on plays of the signature FA logo and a mix of different collages. A few stand out pieces besides from their core drop is its Frogman Club shirt and short set and its “I Love You” Club shirt and short set. In addition to the apparel, the skateboard decks focus on different FA logos and holographic elements.

FA is known for its unapologetic authenticity and has since grown into one of the most respected brands in the streetwear and skater industry. To shop the latest Fucking Awesome delivery click here.
