Established in 2013, Jerry Lorenzo’s Fear of God is a luxury premium streetwear label that has garnered attention worldwide for its premium wardrobe staple and silhouettes. What inspired Jerry Lorenzo to start the brand was interesting. He had just transitioned from club promoting to styling athletes and realized there was a gap in the fashion industry that didn’t include staple silhouettes. He learned the same when looking at his wardrobe, which eventually became Fear of God. Fear of God’s intention is to combine sportswear's softness with expert tailoring's complex intensity. When Fear of God was at its height in the fashion industry, Lorenzo established a sub-label to the contemporary streetwear label—Fear of God Essentials.

Fear of God Essentials (also referred to as FOG Essentials) was established in 2018 and completely transformed the fashion industry. The sub-label mixes and matches Fear of God’s original intentions while making the apparel more accessible and affordable. Fear of God Essentials plays with different textures, silhouettes, and designs for men, women, and kids. Their clothing typically includes ready-to-wear designs like t-shirts, hoodies, crewnecks, sweaters, cardigans, shorts, joggers, leggings, sweatpants, running shorts, track pants, and more.

Fear of God Essentials Spring 2023

Focusing on the ‘modern wardrobe,’ Fear of God Essentials’ new arrivals combine cozy streetwear wardrobe staples with elevated fabrics. All arriving in a spring color palette, the collection incorporates heavy sweatshirts, t-shirts, hoodies, track pants, and more that are perfect for the transitional months. Five new shades are also introduced—Sycamore, Light Tuscan, and Plum.

The Fear of God Essentials Crewneck is a must-have wardrobe staple, ideal for in-between transitional weather for the spring. The design is composed entirely of cotton and polyester. Ribbed detailing resides within the neckline, cuffs, and hem. At the front of the silhouette is rubberized-printed logo branding. At the rear is a rubberized label that rounds out the rest of the look. The Fear of God Essentials Relaxed Trouser is also featured in this new collection for different loungewear-inspired aesthetics. Cut from a blend of cotton and polyester, the silhouette features a relaxed fit paired with an encased elastic drawstring waistband. A rubberized label is placed at the front. Side seam and back welt pockets add a functional finish to the design.
