Converse

Iconic sneaker brand Converse was first introduced in 1908 by founder Marquis Mills. Also known as the 'Chuck Taylor' brand, Converse Chuck Taylor has grown into one of the most recognizable and iconic footwear companies, creating a variety of sneakers that have been a closet staple generation after generation. Acquired underneath the Nike umbrella in 2003, Converse high-top sneakers were initially designed to be basketball shoes and reinvented the sport of basketball with its innovative design. Notably worn by NBA basketball players, these attributes included the thick rubber outsole and ankle-covering canvas upper, allowing for the Converse sneakers to provide protection, comfort, and support that was needed for the sport. Some of the different types of Converse shoes, such as the Chuck Taylor All Star and the Chuck 70 Hi, Converse has grown and ventured into a multitude of silhouettes. Also featuring low-top and platform sneaker silhouettes, some of Converse's offerings include the classic Chuck Taylor All Star High Top and Converse Star Hike Platform. Converse shoes serve as the perfect canvas with different colors available, making them ideal for everyday wear. Notable collaborations have been done with Converse All-Star sneakers with Comme des Garçons PLAY, Off-White, Stussy, Brain Dead, Neighborhood, Carhartt, Sacai, Undercover, and many more.
