New Era
New Era
American hat company New Era was founded in 1920 in Buffalo, New York. Having since turned into a full-fledged international lifestyle brand, the company initially started producing Gatsby-style caps. With authentic sports heritage that dates back over 100 years, New Era made its first professional baseball cap for the Cleveland Guardians. New Era became the official hat brand for the MLB in 1993, the NFL in 2012, and the NBA in 2016. As the only brand in sports history with exclusive headwear rights for all three major U.S. sports leagues, New Era caps have maintained its stake as a cultural icon for decades, reaching different generations throughout its journey. New Era is most recognized for their iconic fitted cap, the 59FIFTY, along with their signature embroidered 'flag' logo found on each hat. New Era also produces beanies, snapbacks, and other fitted hats for countless teams, including the Los Angeles Dodgers, Boston Red Sox, Chicago White Sox, New York Yankees, Arizona Diamondbacks, and many more. New Era has collaborated with brands such as FEATURE, Fear of God, Born x Raised, and Awake.
