WTF! Happened: Goodie Mob

4

Goodie Mob is a hip-hop collective that was created in 1991 and became a staple to the music game. The Atlanta based group featured, Cee-Lo Green, Khujo, T-Mo, and Big Gipp. All four members were born in Atlanta and made their first debut on Outkast's, Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik. Up until 2000, Goodie Mob has put out three studio effort albums. Working under the label, Dungeon Family, the group felt pressure from their peer group, Outkast that pushed them even harder to create even more great music. In 2000, Ceelo Green and Big Gipp left the group to pursue individual projects. Khujo ad T-Mo united to make the music duo, The Lumberjacks. In recent years, Ceelo Green seemed to gain more success without the group. He is currently working with DJ Danger Mouse under the name Gnarls Barkley. The other members have little success. Rumors say that a reunion is bound to occur followed by a new album set to release this year.
