Rassvet
Rassvet
Rassvet (Paccbet) is a Russian skateboarding clothing company founded in 2016 by Gosha Rubchinskiy and pro-skateboarder Tolia Titaev. The brand is focused on the new generation of young Russian rebels and exploring their style and culture by reinventing classic skatewear silhouettes. Paccbet is pronounced Rassvet in English, thus giving the brand two ways to say it depending on where you are in the world.
The name Paccbet means sunrise or dawn in Russian, that reflects Gosha’s mantra of finding the beauty in the stereotypical Russian culture and bringing it to light. Gosha has been showcasing this message in all of his collections since the very beginning. He wants the brand to showcase what it means to be young and Russian in the post-Soviet world and his use of Paccbet shows optimism and youth for the next generation.
The brand showcases a variety of jeans, pants, sweaters and streetwear silhouettes with subtle Russian aesthetics such as Cyrillic script or graphic prints. Produced by Commes des Garcons, Gosha has quickly risen as one of the most important menswear designers. Under the CDG umbrella, he’s worked for Supreme, Pitti Uomo in Florence and debuted his first brand DOUBLECHEESEBURGERVF, otherwise known as Valentin Fufaev.
Since the inception of Rassvet (Paccbet) clothing, the brand has grown into a full-fledged stand-alone skateboarding fashion brand. The brand can be seen in collaboration with Carhartt and Russell Athletic.
